  The early morning sun danced through the curtains’ openings, impregnating the air with its joyful radiance of warmth, while a room that had never known the pain of being empty once again throbbed from the wounds of absence. My family and I enter the UK five years ago with our equipment and an old and second-hand car and went abroad, what we thought it would be brighter we knew. The grey hatchback car, though not even in a good condition, was a true source of joy for us. My father bought it for us as a surprise. The engine of the car, trying hard to carry us, was audibly tired due to the many miles it had travelled with us. It had been a vehicle of our freedom we’d travel it for years, an aircraft for our countless adventures, until we had to transition to the new roads and bid this one farewell.
